Every Story Begins With One Child

Welcome to Cloudland Tales.

This isn't just a collection of children's eBooks—it's a mission inspired by one incredible little boy.

Our son, Chase, was born with a cleft lip and palate. Shortly after he was born, skilled surgeons repaired his cleft, and we're forever grateful for the doctors, nurses, and medical teams who helped give him the best possible start in life.

Today, Chase is a happy, funny, creative 10-year-old who loves life.

Like many children born with a visible difference, he still has a small scar. While it tells a story of strength and resilience, not every child understands that. Over the years, Chase has experienced teasing because of something he never chose.

As parents, those moments are heartbreaking.

But instead of allowing those experiences to define his story, we decided to create something positive.

That's how Cloudland Tales was born.

Every eBook we create is written with one goal:

To help children believe that being different is something to be proud of—not something to hide.

Our stories celebrate kindness, courage, friendship, empathy, imagination, and the unique qualities that make every child special. We want children to see heroes who overcome challenges, embrace who they are, and discover that their differences can become their greatest strengths.

More Than Books

These stories are for every child who has ever felt different.

They're for children born with cleft lip and palate.

They're for children with scars.

They're for children who have been bullied.

They're for children who feel left out.

And they're for every parent searching for stories that help build confidence, compassion, and self-esteem.

If just one child finishes one of our books believing in themselves a little more than they did before, then we've accomplished exactly what we set out to do.

Our Mission

We're working to connect with cleft organizations, children's hospitals, schools, libraries, and support groups around the world so these stories can reach the families who need them most.

Whenever possible, we'd love to provide complimentary PDF copies to nonprofit organizations and family support programs serving children affected by cleft lip and palate.

Because every child deserves stories that remind them they are brave, loved, capable, and enough—exactly as they are.

A Personal Note

Right now, this dream is being built one story at a time.

There isn't a large publishing company behind Cloudland Tales.

There isn't a big team.

It's simply a father with a laptop, a hotel Wi-Fi connection, and a belief that stories can change lives.

Every book purchased helps us continue creating new adventures, new characters, and new stories that encourage children to dream bigger, love themselves, and treat others with kindness.
